Audrey Roberts has been in the thick of a rather raunchy new storyline in recent weeks after she was swept off her feet by a rather dashing toyboy. The widower’s new partner is called Lewis Archer and despite a rocky start, during which she discovered he was an escort – they have settled into a rather good relationship.
But don’t be to sure things wont blow up with more controversy – this is a prime time soap after all… Toyboys are featuring more and more in the countries soaps and tv shows as society seems to be much more willing to accept that age gap relationships are something positive.
There are the shows Cougar Town and Sex And Thee City which seem to always have a younger man / older woman theme and its not just across the pond in the US where the craze is continuing. Emmerdale is said to be preparing a similar themed storyline and its almost the latest must have theme for inclusion.
