It may come as no surprise that the women these days are having more fun than ever, but it may come as more of a surprise that women in their 40s and 50s are having the most fun of all. Apparently they are enjoying an age of sexual liberation and they are certainly taking advantage of all the toyboys out there who are single to.

The thinking behind this is that as women age they become less fixated by things like body image and prefer to focus on enjoying themselves. Researchers from the University Of Texas have shown that women in their 40s indulge themselves in more sexual fantasies and have more fulfilling sex lives than ladies of the same age.

Toyboys will be pleased to hear this as research also shows that women are wanting to meet younger men and it makes them feel great to show them off. Nearly ½ of women in their 40’s have said that they would be interested to date a toyboy who is more than 5 years younger than them!

Second Annual Toyboy Convention In USA

The second annual ‘Cougar Convention’ has taken place in the USA and proved a big success bringing together toyboys and older women in a great atmosphere of celebration. The event is kind of like one big party at the ballroom of a big hotel – and there certainly was romance in the air.

The whole thing was started by a guy known as Rich Gosse, who is a full time dating coach helping people acquire the skills to be successful in the world of singletons. He has turned his hands to making the toyboy dating world a huge thing in the states. Although they prefer to focus on the word ‘Cougars’ instead of ‘toyboys’.

The Cougar Conventions are traditionally started by a warm up speech from Rich himself to set the atmosphere and welcome people to the event and ask why the attendees like older women and younger men. Most answers centered around the fact that younger guys are more energetic and fun to be with. The guys thought the older ladies are fun to be with and don’t mess the guys around so much as they know exactly what they want.

After breaking the ice the lights dimmed, the music started and everyone started mingling making it a true singles event and there was romance in the air as things hotted up.. The members of the crowd who gave their opinions about why they came made it clear they weren’t there just for sex, they were looking to try something different and with all the hype surrounding the topic with shows like Sex And The City and Cougar Town making it more normal to have an age gap relationship.

MP’s Toyboy Splits With Girlfriend

The toyboy of disgraced Irish MP Iris Robinson has revealed that he has split up with his girlfriend due to the pressure that their affair exerted on their relationship. Despite having a beautiful girlfriend Kirk McCamberley still couldn’t resist the charms of 60 year old Iris, even though she was over 40 years older than him!

Their love trist lasted a good few months and caused a sensational scandal which pretty much ended Iris’s marriage. His girlfriend initially said that she would stick by him when the huge media storm erupted. The girl in question is 18 year old Rebecca McGrath but as time went on she found it increasingly impossible to carry on as normal. What we don’t know is if Kirk will go running back into the arms of Iris to cheers himself (and her!) up..

Within days of the story hitting the headlines Mark was even offered a front page cover of a gay magazine in the USA who wanted to do a story in him! It seemed that his name and face were known publically around the globe as one of the most famous toyboys in the world. In fact if he had stuck with Iris once could imagine him joining the Ashton Kutchers and Jesus Luz’s of show business. Ex star of The Darling Buds Of May Catherine Zeta Jones has stunned everyone by admitting that she actually has developed a taste for toyboys. The news was something of a shock after reports last month that she didn't find younger men very attractive and prefers older men!

The welsh actress is currently playing lead role in the film called The Rebound which is about to have it's premiere in Leicester Square. The film is all about a woman who falls head over heels about a guy who is 15 years younger then herself and there certainly is lots of on screen chemistry going on. We can certainly expect that there may well be lots in real life to. We hope that Catherine's husband Michael Douglas doesn't get to jealous!

The film will be released on 28th July and is out on DVD shortly after.
