It was only a few years ago that it was very uncommon for older women to date toyboys. It was even considered to be quite a taboo. It seems though this is something that has certainly changed in recent years. From the poking fun approach of films like American Pie with ‘Stiffler’s mom’ to the small screen with shows like Cougar Town and Sex And The City featuring plenty of stories about ‘older women’ looking for that elusive toyboy.
Hollywood has now got in on the act with the latest Catherine Zeta Jones film called The Rebound, its all about a divorced mother in her 40’s (who still looks rather hot we might add) falling for her 25 year old babysitter. We are not sure how many lucky babysitters this happens to but we can be sure that the phenomenon of younger men dating women is a trend that is growing year on year.
Members of the online dating site Toyboy Connection have been increasing steadily throughout this year and with imminent plans to launch internationally it appears there could be even bigger pastures ahead for toyboy dating.
